This 12-week class is perfect for beginners to get a well rounded start in the Art of Pottery and the endless possibilities of Clay. Those that have no experience at all are welcome as well as those that have experience. You will learn a combination of throwing on the pottery wheel as well as learning hand-building techniques (coil-building, slab-building, pinch pots and more) to create your own one-of-a-kind pieces. Classes start March 13 - June 12, 2026, 6:30pm - 9:30pm (3 hrs./class, 12weeks) **No Classes on April 3rd (Good Friday) & June 5th (firing week)** What will you need? Clay (purchased from the studio only for $36+gst/bag, includes glazes and firings) Basic pottery tool kit (available at Delta Art Store, most Art stores, Amazon, Michaels, etc) 1 or 2 Microfibre Cloths Wear Clothing that you can get messy (apron is optional) Very short fingernails are highly recommended when working with clay *all finished pieces will be available for pickup 4-5 weeks after the last class class maximum: 10 participants
